Multnomah Days Parade

We live in an area in Portland called Multnomah Village. The actual "village" is only about 3 blocks with lots of little shops and resturants - it reminds me of Sisters, OR or shops along the coast. They had a parade in Aug and we came home with tons of candy!

Happy Anniversary . . . 08/17/2002

I can hardly believe we've been married 5 years now. What's even harder to believe is that we met over 10 years ago when I was 14 and in 8th grade and Cole was 16 and a Sophmore. I fell in love the moment I met him (just read my journals) and will for eternity. I am so lucky to have Cole as my best friend and husband. He always makes me laugh and I can never get enough of him. Happy Anniverary Cole- I love you!!

This is a picture from our first date - September 1998

Electronics Curse!!

OK, We are having a total electronics curse in our family the past few months and we're going crazy. In the past 6 weeks our digital camera and video camera stopped working, 2 DVD players have died - well one works when we get lucky, the remote for the tv randomly controlls the window air conditioner, the DVD player on Cole's new laptop stopped working and Cole came home today and said that his laptop stopped working all together! AHHHHHHHHHHHH! I know they are all very trivial things, but it's frustrating none the less and the pocket book is empty until loans kick in again at at the end of Sept - luckily it's just in time to at least purchase a camera before the baby comes!

Splish, Splash

We've been taking advantage of our few days of warm weather and heading outside to play in the kiddy pool.

Weekend Fun

I couldn't resist!

Hard at work - one of his favorite pass times is to get kitchen utensils and use them as tools

"I need to find a kid one" Macie opened about 20 bandaids looking for the one she wanted!

Picking the first blackberries of the season!

Macie helped me plant some flowers and was happy to help with the pink ones she picked out.

Happy Birthday Shayla!

I have to give a shout out to my sister Shayla who turned 22 on July 29! Most of you know she has long q-t syndrome and was in the hospital for 6 weeks in 2005. She has made such great improvements in her walking, talking, and memory and she certainly has her sparkling and spunky personality back. She's my inspiration and I love her!

Like Father, Like Son

Dominic has become Cole's shadow. He follows him around wanting to do everything he is. He has even started to say "daddy" which is exciting, but kinda strange because we call Cole "Papi" not daddy. Sorry about the sideways pics.
