For the first week of school she had a desk in the front row, which she loved. By the second week she was moved to the back row (in a class of 18 so it wasn't far) and was bummed about that. I told her that it was a good thing and that if she was moved back it means that she is dependable and the teaher can trust her to stay on task!
Dominic is in Preschool this year at a local church - three mornings a week from 9-12. He's pretty excited each day and has never clung to my leg or hesitated to go in the room each morning. He is in a great class with only 7 kids and his teacher is Mrs. Ansell. I'm so glad he has a fun time and when I ask him what he learned he always says "I don't know, but I played with Nicholas!" Once he gets that out he's pretty good about telling me a little about his day.
