2.Dominic is doing a fabulous job on his potty training. We started about 2 months ago and the first 2 weeks were awful! He would literally kick and scream about sitting on the toilet, so after a few time outs and making him sit still long enough to make anything happen he got the hang of it. We told him that once his sticker chart was full he and Papi would go to the toy store and he could pick something out. This is the boys getting ready for their celebratory outing to the toy store. There are still a couple accidents once in a while, but I'm happy. "Mommy's Happy, Papi's Happy! YEAH!" is the little sing-song chant we do after he goes potty and he loves to sing it to!
3.Tessa is walking!! She's been at it for about a month and it has made her so happy! She's pretty fearless and has been trying to walk very fast since the start!
4.The most exciting of all is that we will be moving to VIRGINIA this coming Summer!!
All the grueling work and time Cole has spent studying and getting involved at the Dental School has paid off! Cole got into the VCU Orthodontic Program!! He is SO HAPPY and so am I! It was his first choice and he deserves it! I am so proud of him. It's only for 2 years, so although we'll be sad to be so far from our family we'll be back to the NW before we know it!
We are very excited for this move and even more excited that we'll be so close to Washington DC, Williamsburg, Virginia Beach and get to experience the East Coast for a while! Hopefully the sites will bring visitors too!
This is Cole and I before we headed to Claim Jumper to Celebrate!!

Hey, first off. We love your christmas card, it's so funny. Dominic would certainly fit in here in Germany, he has the hair and the name.
Second, can I send Ayla to you to potty train? She is so out of control as of lately, I don't know what I'm going to do with myself.
Third, you guys make such a cute couple. Your so youthful and pretty, I can't believe you have 3 kids and your going to ortho school, your to young for that (wow, do I sound like a proud parent or what?)
Daisha YAY! We're moving to DC end of the summer too!!! Parker got a job out there and I have mixed feelings about it but knowing you'll be out there will make it more bearable!! You'll love it though, there's always SO much to do with the kids! They have the best parks out there, and they're covered so it's not so hot! Anyways, email me and let me know where you think you'll be living and stuff!jenn_morrill@hotmail.com
Congrats Cole!!!
Daisha - that is so awesome. I use to work for a dentist who went to school at VCU. What a change from the rainy NW, but I'm sure you'll love it. Are you guys headed this way when you're all done?
great blog you guys, hey Virginia, you'll have to let me know where my niece lives in virginia and your two families would make great friends. Merry Christmas love the Cooks
Yay for Tessa walking! That's so fun! And congrats to Cole!! How fun to be somewhere new just for a couple years!
It's not normal that you guys have gotten so much snow, right? That is just craziness to me! It looks like you guys had a lot of fun enjoying it though. How exciting that Tessa is walking...she looks like a big girl! Hopefully Nae's gets the hang of it soon! I think she will be so much happier when she can follow her siblings around a little bit better.
Is that your hair or a hat on the top pic? You guys are so much fun!
Merry Christmas and congrats on your big break!
Congrats on all of the reasons to celebrate! Your family is the cutest. I can always count on your blog to give me a good laugh. That Christmas photo is to die for! :) I am still laughing.
You two are adorable! Congratulations on getting into the ortho program!! That's awesome. Glad things are going so well!
Daisha, it is so good to see you and your family! I love your blog. I can't tell you how entertaining it is. Congrats on the Virginia move. We are in Michigan now so at least we will be in the same time zone.
Your kids are adorable! Its crazy to see Macy so old. Remember the days on MSA? We have some funny footage of a SAC retreat way back when. I watched it the other night and it reminded me of those good old times. Take care.
What a cute post! I'm so happy that Dominic is getting the hang of things, and Tessa is walking so well. I was so impressed when I babysat for you.
Wow do you look HOT in that last picture of you and Cole! I still can't believe you have had 3 kids and look that good!
I'm really happy that Cole got his first choice. What a great adventure you will have.
Love,
Gwen
Congrats on the move. Virginia is great(that's where I'm from). Next time we go to visit we'll have to meet up. It's been so long! There is SO much to do in virginia and it's so close to dc, and ny too!
