Spring Break!

The kids had Spring Break last week. We stayed in town as Cole was working and took his final board exam (yeah!). The weather was beautiful most of the time so the kids spent lots of time outside playing in the dirt and yard (before and after we cut the weeds down). I took the kids to the dentist to get their teeth cleaned and they were so so excited. I kept reminding them that it wouldn't be seeing Cole, but it didn't matter. They (3 oldest) did great and I got to watch through a window. They were obviously most excited about the prizes and new toothbrushes at the end! No cavities!

We also popped our own popcorn on the stove. That was sure fun to see those first kernels pop!

The ward Easter egg hunt was mid-week. They got plenty of eggs and had a good time playing with their friends. Claire still doesn't have an Easter basket so we gave her a purse. She was plenty happy with that. We also had two play dates with our friends the Passey's.

My childhood friend, Jenn, came down to Richmond with her kids and we spent a few hours at Maymont Park seeing animals and having a picnic. After they came to our house for a little while. It was so fun to have them visit for the day!

Spring break ended with a baby shower at our house for a fellow resident and his wife who are having their first baby - due about 2 weeks before me!
