Macie . . .

1. She's "4 and a half" (not 4)! Everyday day she asks how many days it is until her birthday (less than 3 months away now).
2. Completely understands Spanish and speaks it quite well. . . Thanks to Cole speaking it to her since she was born.
3. Attends 'El Pilar' Spanish immersion Preschool 3 mornings a week, she complains on the way, but LOVES it once she's there.
4.She's not a morning person at all, probably due to the fact that her bed time is 9pm (so she can see Cole) and that the younger kids wake her up before she is ready to be up. (trying to get to Kindergarten by 8am next year will probably be a nightmare . . not to mention that if she takes the bus it comes at 7:20AM!!)
5. She LOVES to write words and learn how to spell things. She's getting good at reading too, but is really interested in math and numbers right now.
6. She has an amazing memory whether it is directions when in the car, songs, books, or things we've said. There is no going back on my word with this girl!
7. She is typically a helpful little girl, especially with Dominic and Tessa. She also like to help fold laundry.
8. Macie is a very good artist. She loves to color, draw and do crafts and is very creative with it all. (and "stays in the lines too mom"- Macie)
9. She really likes her baby doll Emma and to go outside and play with her friends (this was by Macie's request).
10. She is a girly little thing . . . lots of lipgloss & nail polish for her.
I can't believe my baby is going to be 5 this summer! We love her to death!

The Funny Things She Says . . .
This morning Macie and Dominic were "cooking" (putting water in pans and stiring) She wanted more water so she said to Dominic in a sweet voice "Patch me a pill of water Doms." We were reading nursery rhymes yesturday which included Jack & Jill . . ."to fetch a pail of water". Too cute!

Just a few minutes ago Dominic and Macie were fighting so I walked them over to the couch to have them sit down and told them that we needed to have a conference. The response I got from Macie was "Will there be cinnamon rolls?" This is so funny to me because one of our General Conference tradtions is to have cinnamon rolls for breakfast. She was disappointed that I meant we needed to have a talk about being nice and that no cinnamon rolls would be served :)

Seriously, could your kids be any cuter? They are too fun, and I love the facts you wrote! I can't believe you have an almost 5 year old! And way to go on your bargain shopping! I need to do better at clipping coupons...you've inspired me :)

I have loved the posts about your kids. They are so cute and we really miss you guys! I can't believe how much Dom has grown up! He hardly looks like a toddler any more I can't believe how big he is!
