Baltimore

We were so excited when we heard that Cole's brother Don was marrying a girl from Baltimore. That is only 3 hours away from us so two weekends ago we drove up to Baltimore to stay with Emily's family for their Open House. They are actualy getting married in Portland, OR tomorrow (Cole is there, but we didn't get to go). Even better news is that they are moving to Baltimore in April!! We'll have a few months to hang with them until we move in late June!

It was so fun to see Don again after 3 years . . . since his mission and the past year we've been here. Emily is absolutely adorable and we love her!

Don and Emily were kind enough to take us to have some fun the first afternoon we were there. We went to Annie's Playground which was large and very fun for the kids and adults alike.

After we drove to a waterfall, changed into our swimsuits in the bushes and took the little hike to the falls. The water was so cold, but it was fun to take the kdis under the waterfall . . . scared Macie at first, but then she got brave. It was so powerful it took your breath away when you were under it.

I'll share the wedding open house pictures soon - it was on Saturday. It was beautiful and fun!

On Sunday we left to go home and took a quick detour downtown to one of the piers. We didn't really know where we were at but were able to see the bay, boats, a lighthouse and feed some ducks and pigeons.

We had a really fun time and love Emily's family. Her parents are from England and have the greatest accents and we came away saying things like trousers and pronouncing things with a British accent. It was a fabulous weekend!
