To the Lake

We met my friend Jenn and her kids at Lake Anna a few weeks ago. It is pretty much a meet in the middle location for us both. When we got there is was pouring and cloudy. After several heavy rain showers the sun finally broke through and we had a fabulous time. We stayed for over 4 hours, had a picinic lunch and played.

It was still warm and humid so the kids still stayed in the water during the rain storms while Jenn and I would try our best to cover all our food and clothes to keep them dry. It was a great day!

I'm always grateful when Dominic has boys to play with. These three had such a good time together. They would go up to the playground, go down the slide and then run doen to the beach and jump in the water.
