Visitors

My parents were here all last week after they had been vacationing a little farther south. We had a nice relaxing time with them ( I just hope they weren't bored). They are always so kind and helpful when they are here. My kids absolutely loved playing with them.

One day we took them to Hollywood Cemetery (named for all the holly trees). It is a very large and very old cemetery with lots of war generals, soldiers, and 2 United States Presidents buried there. We enjoyed walking and driving around looking at all the headstones, family grave sites and some neat history.

There were tons of headstones with the name Cole on them.
Our ever serious Tessa made it very clear that this was not her dad.

Inside these stone rooms would be about 6-8 family members resting place.

John Tyler, 10th US President
Presidents Circle was under construction so we couldn't get very close to the president's graves.

President James Monroe, 5th US President - center

Monument to commemorate the 18,000 confederate soldiers buried nearby
